certainly 19th century, very possibly earlier, is this handmade wooden foot treadle for the small flax spinning wheel.  this treadle was used to propel the wheel and was mounted between back and 1 front leg. this one is wooden pinned, hard wood,with decorative cut out form to foot section and both iron pins present.  about 20 3/4 inches long, 13 inches wide.  condition is undamaged but dirty.  see pics    POSTAGE HIGHER TO WESTERN STATES
