Motive gears are manufactured from 8620 steel gear forgings They are machined using a computer controlled process and manufatured with the latest gear cutting technology. They are Rockwell tested for hardness. They are heat treated and given extra lapping which results in an ideal contact pattern and smoother, quieter operation.
