The G8 GT Engine is a 6.0L all aluminum engine, with a Active Fuel Management System pushing out 360 HP.

Up for auction is a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT 6.0L LS2 engine and 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission with only 23K miles! This auction will include the engine, transmission, engine accessories, engine harness, main computer and pedals!

At Cleveland Pick-A-Part we thoroughly inspect each motor and back it with our standard 6-month warranty.

Before we start each engine, we remove all the spark plugs and hand turn the engine over to make sure no oil has passed the rings.

We do a compression test to make sure the rings and valves are properly sealed, as well as the head gaskets.

We do a vacuum test to make sure there are no sticking or burned valves, collapsed lifters, or vacuum leaks.

We do a oil pressure test at cold start up and warm operating temperatures to ensure proper bearing clearance, and that there are no restrictions in the oiling system, as well as proper operating specifications.

We do a CO test to make sure there are no cracks in the block, heads, or head gaskets, as well as making sure there are no exhaust gases present in the cooling system.

We inspect the automatic transmission by draining and inspecting the fluid for contamination or burnt fluid. We then remove the filter and check for debris or foreign material. We then refill the transmission with new fluid and run test it through all of its gears to ensure it shifts properly. If any problems are found, the transmission will be torn down for inspection and repaired as necessary.

We will not list a dropout until is has been inspected and run tested!

Oil pressure was 60 pounds cold and 50 pounds warm

Vacuum was a SOLID 19"

Signature confirmation can be added to each item for an additional $2. We will not be responsible for packages released at front porches or at front doors. Please note that if you are not available, some carriers will leave the package around your house without your consent.

If you provide us with an incorrect address for truck freight shipments, you will be liable for any additional charges outside of original quoted rate. Any shipping quotes are valid for one week.

All returned items that are found functional will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. We will not pay to have your item shipped back to us unless it is damaged in shipping or found defective.
