| BRP's brake adapter plates will directly bolt on the 1998-2002 F-body Camaro & Firebird rear brakes onto any 10 or 12 bolt car rear end from 1955-1991 no cutting or welding it’s a true bolt on. The 1998-2002 brakes backing plate binds on the rear end housing and these position the backing plate In the correct location then just install the brakes like you would on a stock 2002 Camaro The modern 12in rotors use a powerful single piston aluminum caliper that features a built in E-brake system that easily adapts to older vehicles. BRP offers Zinc coated cross-drilled and slotted rotors that are machined in the US for only $139 a pair. These brakes keep your classic GM all GM so no special parts it just like have a 2002 Z28 Camaro so all maintenance parts can be bought from a local parts store instead of having to special ordering parts. Notice on some vehicles like the 1967-1981 F-Body and 1968-1972 X-Body Nova feature a staggered shock in the rear that limits space for the rear calipers. BRPs Bolt In inboard shock kit is the first of its kind and will allow you to fit the left and right side calipers, improves handling and with fit a 275 or 10 wide tire with stock suspension with no cutting or welding. If you do not want to use the inboard kit just use two same side rear calipers and it will offset the staggered shocks. What you need to complete this conversion from the 98-2002 F-body GM set of brakes. Rear Calipers Backing plates OEM brake lines Rotors/pads | ||||||||||||||||||||
