1927 LaSalle Roadster: FIRST YEAR FOR LASALLE: I am told only 50 roadsters were built the first year of LaSalle by General Motors. GM hired Harley Earl to design this great car and you can easily see the great "carriage style" lines of the body in detail. This led to the formation of the GM Art and Color Department. The chassis is equipped with the original V-8 motor and is totally restored. IT starts on the first try every time. This body off restoration was done several years ago, however, it is still superb in every way. It is finished in the proper two-tone combination with a black hood , fenders, and burgandy body detail. The black leather is perfect as well as the door panels and flooring. Even the leather rumble seat shows no wear. The LaSalle is a full CCCA Classic and can be shown with pride at any Concours.
