1933 LINCOLN KA CONVERTIBLE:
In 1933, Lincoln's classic V-8 engine was dropped in favor of a smaller version of the company's V- 12 first offered in 1932. While the big V-12, the KB, displaced 447.9 cubic inches, the smaller engine displaced 382 cubic inches. It was designated the KA, a smooth-running unit developing 125 horsepower at 3400 rpm. This model was offered only during 1933. After that, both It and its larger companion were replaced by a 414-cubic-inch V-12 available in both 136-inch and 145-inch wheelbases. All were built to Lincoln's traditional standards of quality. This particular car was first owned by Hollywood's Cecil B. DeMille.
