This is a Fixed Price format listing -
With the Fixed Price format:
  • Buyers can purchase your item immediately at the price you set
  • You can also accept Best Offers from buyers
  • There is no bidding
  • Offers below a reasonable amount are automatically declined without bothering the seller

Listings may be set to require approval to buy/offer - you must email before trying to buy a vehicle.  The lines above about a "Salvage Vehicle" are added by eBay, who has little or no understanding of automobile repair and restoration.  What a buyer does with a vehicle once they own it is entirely their business.

--------------------------------------

Vintage Stock Car:  This is a 1935 Ford coupe.  It raced in the Winchester VA area in the 1955-1959 era and has been parked since; driver unknown.  Body is not cut, doors open, rumble seat opens.  Rare and complete example of an early stock car that would be easily restored as such for vintage racing.  Also could be easily restored or street rodded with a '35 or '36 parts car for front clip and fenders - we have examples of both available seperately.  Some minor rust to lower body, but nothing major - car never saw salt and hasn't even seen a road in over 50 years.  Rolls, steers.  Believe motor is locked up, but you'd rebuild it anyways.  A motor swap, brakes, and some better wheels and tires and you have a drivable car.

This car draws more than it's share of critics; to those whiners who seem to think we should be a charity for welfare rodders, might I suggest you use some of the endless amounts of time you must have to research what 1935 and 1936 Fords sell for before complaining and not try to compare it to the '78 Nova 4-door you inherited from your grandmother to make a rat rod out of.  This isn't Wal-mart and we do not need to take people's disrespectful nonsense with a smile and say have a nice day.  The opinions of a bunch of jerks who have no intention of buying anything, have no relevance to us; they're just sad examples of people with nothing better to do than show the world their ignorance.

WE DO NOT PART OUT CARS - WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD

Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business.

How to pay: Check, cash in person, money order(s).  eBay in their infinite (lack of) wisdom has chosen to make Paypal, in person payment, and other credit processing the only acceptable payments on most items.  Although regular vehicle listings are exempt, they forgot to exempt this category.  So be aware that to use Paypal to pay for this item, it will need to be taken apart into pieces small enough they can be shipped via FedEx or UPS.  I can't imagine what the expense of that would be, given some parts would have to literally be destroyed to be small enough for them to accept and ship, and it would require easily hundreds of packages.  Any questions, just let me know.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
