This is a Fixed Price format listing -
With the Fixed Price format:
Listings may also be set to approval for buying/offering to prevent scammers from ending listings prematurely. You must email prior to trying to buy a vehicle. It should be noted that the lines denoting a salvage vehicle are added by eBay and that what a buyer chooses to do with a vehicle once they own it is entirely their business. 1935 Housecar Camper: This is a vintage factory camper conversion built on a mid-30s Chrysler (?) chassis. The body is aluminum skin over steel framework. We don't know a whole lot about it - I have not been able to find any information on it, these were probably not common even when new and odds are good this is the only one like it (the only one left) in the entire world. It's a little like having a Spartan trailer that doesn't need a tow vehicle. Has a face only a mother could love, though. Note the small windows on each side at the back may use factory glass and inside trim from the same vehicle that supplied the chassis. For some reason the center of the rear bumper reads Graham, but this piece looks to have been cut from another bumper and added later. The drivetrain has been removed and the interior gutted - it was set up to be towed as a trailer like a haywagon, and spent some time used as an office, complete with cheesy pine paneling inside. But the body is all here and in good shape, despite the green paint. Lots of potential here for someone who really has the ability to build a car. Lots to complain about if you need directions just to change a tire. WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT CARS Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business. How to pay: eBay in their infinite (lack of) wisdom has chosen to make Paypal, in person payment, and other credit processing the only acceptable payments on most items. Although regular vehicle listings are exempt, they forgot to exempt this category. So be aware that to use Paypal to pay for this item, it will need to be taken apart into pieces small enough they can be shipped via FedEx or UPS. I can't imagine what the expense of that would be, given some parts would have to literally be destroyed to be small enough for them to accept and ship, and it would require easily hundreds of packages. Any questions, just let me know.
eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
