This is a Fixed Price format listing -
With the Fixed Price format:
Listings may also be set to approval for buying/offering to prevent scammers from ending listings prematurely. You must email prior to trying to buy a vehicle. It should be noted that the lines denoting a salvage vehicle are added by eBay and that what a buyer chooses to do with a vehicle once they own it is entirely their business. This is a 1948 Chevrolet 2-door sedan. Appears to be complete, 216 motor, manual trans. Doors are decent, floors okay, frame seems good, minor rot in the usual places but altogether not that bad - suitable for rat rod, hot rod, street rod or custom project or parts for your 1946, 1947, 1948 Chevrolet. These bodies fit right on S10 frames pretty easily, I have been lead to believe. Apparears to have last been driven in the late 1950s or early 1960s. If you'd like to come see it e-mail me to make an appointment. WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT VEHICLES Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. This is not to be unreasonable, but to prevent being taken advantage of. How to pay: eBay in their infinite (lack of) wisdom has chosen to make Paypal, in person payment, and other credit processing the only acceptable payments on most items. Although regular vehicle listings are exempt, they forgot to exempt this category. So be aware that to use Paypal to pay for this item, it will need to be taken apart into pieces small enough they can be shipped via FedEx or UPS. I can't imagine what the expense of that would be, given some parts would have to literally be destroyed to be small enough for them to accept and ship, and it would require easily hundreds of packages. Any questions, just let me know.
