This is a Fixed Price format listing -
With the Fixed Price format:
Listings may also be set to approval for buying/offering to prevent scammers from ending listings prematurely. You must email prior to trying to buy a vehicle. It should be noted that the lines denoting a salvage vehicle are added by eBay and that what a buyer chooses to do with a vehicle once they own it is entirely their business. This is a 1956 Buick Super 2dr hardtop. The car is fairly solid, complete, does have some problems with the hood latch area. Has been stored here for a few years now. A number of spare parts including a 4bbl set up come with it. Parts, restore, or customize. Belongs to my friend, listed for him. For more information or more photos please send an e-mail. I'm sure this could be parted out and make the open bid price and then some. I lost some of my photos when my ISP reduced my available storage, so photos may not show up as it's taken some time to relocate them to other web hosts. WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT CARS Terms Of Sale: 10% or $500, whichever is greater, deposit required within 7 days, payment in full within 21 days. Cars sold as-is, bidders are encouraged to inspect them in advance of purchase - they're old, they have rust, and may have hidden issues we are not aware of. 30 days free storage is included to come get the car, further time can be negotiated as needed. Be aware if it snows and a car cannot be moved, we do not penalize a buyer - just come get it when there's a thaw or in the spring. How to pay: Cash (or other paper payment) In Person. eBay in their infinite (lack of) wisdom has chosen to make Paypal, in person payment, and other credit processing the only acceptable payments on most items. Although regular vehicle listings are exempt, they forgot to exempt this category. So be aware that to use Paypal to pay for this item, it will need to be taken apart into pieces small enough they can be shipped via FedEx or UPS. I can't imagine what the expense of that would be, given some parts would have to literally be destroyed to be small enough for them to accept and ship, and it would require easily hundreds of packages. Any questions, just let me know.
eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
