This is a fantastic barn find, 1959 Nash Metropolitan Hard Top. I was told by the old guy who owned it that he bought the car in California back in 95 from the original owner and drove it back to Florida. He used it as an ever day driver till he lost his vision 9 years ago. So it sat in his barn up on milk crates until I bought it. I had it towed home and I started to work on getting it going. After cleaning out the fuel system and putting a fresh battery in her she started right up and sounds really good. No knocks , ticks or smoke... That's as fare as I got. It will need to have the master cylinders for clutch and brakes replaced or rebuilt to get her on the road again. The interior and body are in nice conditon with minimal rust. Floors are solid. no rips in the seats or head liner. The door panel will need to be redone. The paint would look nice with a good cleaner wax. This would be a very easy restore or drive it the way it is. The front bumper looks good but the back would need to be rechromed. There are two brake drums and a rear differential in the trunk.
