Up for bid is a 1960 Giulietta Spider Normale Vintage Racecar.  This is a solid 101 series rolling chassis with serial number  #AR 1495 09110.  This a long wheel base “interim car” with fixed vent windows and small tail lights.  I am just selling the “rolling” chassis as is shown in the photos.  I do not have a title for this car, it will be sold with a bill of sale.

 

This car has not been butchered or modified extensively like most Giulietta racecars.  The fender wheel openings are stock.  It has a roll bar that is welded in, however it could be easily removed.  There are minor dings and scratches on the outer body, but overall the paint is presentable. The decals can be removed if so desired.  The car rolls very easily!

 

This car would be perfect if you have a complete Giulietta or Giulia “rust bucket” as you could use the majority of your mechanical & trim parts to restore this car back to its original street form without having to spend $10,000 restoring and painting the body. 

 

This Giulietta Spider would also be a great car to go vintage racing in or for making a super quick street car with a more modern 1600, 1750 or 2000 Alfa engine.  This car was raced years ago in the mid-west. I do not have a log book with it. 

 

There is no engine with the car.  There is a 5 speed transmission and radiator in the car.  There is also an older race seat in it.  It does include the dash gauges, rear tail light assemblies, exterior door handles, chrome hood & trunk latches  and hood spear. All the other interior & exterior trim is missing.  It does not come with the soft top frame or windshield.

 

I have parted out many Giulietta & Giulia Spiders and if the winning bidder would like to bring this car back to its original street form, I have all the parts to do so. I will give the winning bidder the opportunity to purchase any or all the interior, exterior and mechanical parts to  make this car complete. These additional parts are not included in this auction and will be sold separately. 

 

It is your responsibility to pick up the car or to arrange for transportation.  I can help with loading it on a trailer or flatbed truck.
