FOR SALE:  1966 Shelby Cobra Hipo 289 engine out of early 1966 Shelby Mustang.  Engine has been stored in a dry, warm, clean southern California garage for many years.  On the street it was capable of 150 MPH, on the strip, it ran 12.00 @ 117 MPH.  Perfect engine for your original GT 350 Shelby.  Has all the original matching numbers, block, crank, rods, heads, brackets, distributor.  Cobra dual quad small letter intake manifold, missing carbs.

Correct open letter Buddy Bar Manufacturing valve covers and Cobra T pan. Heads came from Joe Mondello's Race Shop providing stage 5 full race competition cylinder heads.  (All the goodies) It has been balanced, blue printed, decked, surfaced, chamfered, micro polished and all the other engine building speed secrets.
