1968 Chevelle Here is a nice 1968 Chevelle with a 383 stroker small block. I have owned and driven the car for a few years and now it is time for a new project. The car is great fun to drive, gets lots of attention everywhere, and is very fast. Some details about the car: Engine - 350 4 bolt main block bored .030". SCAT forged crank and SCAT rods with Keith Black forged aluminum pistons. Lunati VooDoo hydraulic cam 233/241 duration @ .050", .504, .525 lift. Patriot 23 degree 195 cc aluminum heads, 10: 1 compression, Edelbrock RPM AIr Gap intake, Holley 750 vacuum carb done by Jet Performance, MSD HEI ignition, Ceramic coated headers with 2.5" exhaust and Flowmaster 50 mufflers. Engine starts right up and runs fine on pump gas. Steering/brakes - Power brakes with front discs, new center link, pitman arm and idler arm. New AGR fast ratio power steering box, two inch drop spindles. Drivetrain - New Centerforce dual friction clutch, Lakewood U joints. GM Posi rear with RIchmond 3:73 gears. Edelbrock No-Hop bars with Edelbrock adjustable upper arms. Electrical - Everything works - lights, wipers, horn, even the key buzzer. New one wire 105 amp alternator, I switched to Halogen headlights with relays and they work great. LED tail lights. Interior - Very nice condition. New Dynamat sound deadener under carpet, in door panels, and under dash. Has aftermarket oil pressure, volts, and water temp gauges, and in-dash tach. Body - All panels appear to be original. Trunk and floors look very good. Before I owned the car, both rear quarters were repaired in the area behind the rear wheels. The areas behind the front wheels on the front fenders have also been repaired. I am not a body expert and I did not do any of the repairs mentioned, but it looks to be metal patches and some filler. There may be other areas that have been repaired but those are what I have noticed. The paint is very nice driver quality. It is by no means perfect as there are various blemishes and chips from driving, but is very presentable. Overall this is a fun driver that you can use without worrying about every little scratch. It is not perfect, it is a 41 year old car with who knows how many miles. It will start right up and cruise whenever you want, and if you want to lay a few hundred feet of rubber, this car will do it without a problem. If you are looking for original, numbers match, pristine condition, etc. then this is not the car for you. This is a driver that won't break the bank. The car can be inspected during the auction so contact me if you want to see it. Please don't win the bid, then tell me you didn't expect there would be a scratch on the bottom of the front bumper, etc. There are two ways to pay for the car - cash and bank wire transfer, that is all. I will not do any kind of international deal - USA only. Winning the bid means you buy the car. You can pick up the car in person, or send a hauler. I will meet you or your hauler and sign over the clear title when I have been paid. The car needs to be paid for within 5 days of the auction's end, and picked up within 14 days. Do not bid unless you actually have the money to pay for it now. If you have to apply for a loan, ask your wife, consult a psychic, etc. get it done before bidding.
