This is a Fixed Price format listing -
With the Fixed Price format:
Listings may also be set to approval for buying/offering to prevent scammers from ending listings prematurely. You must email prior to trying to buy a vehicle. It should be noted that the lines denoting a salvage vehicle are added by eBay and that what a buyer chooses to do with a vehicle once they own it is entirely their business. Don't like the car or the price? Don't buy. It's not that hard of a concept to understand - we're not interested in the opinions of people who wouldn't buy it if they found it on the curb with a free sign on it. For what it's worth, one can check to see what offers have been automatically declined via a link above - and also see who doesn't know you can do that and feels like wasting some time. The comment above is no joke, eBay does not notify sellers of automatic Best Offer declines.
Bradley GT fiberglass body kit car on 1969 (we assume) Volkswagen Beetle pan. Sort of a Corvette-styled body with gullwing doors that used an unaltered VW frame to create a 2-seater sports car. Fiberglass fair, one plexiglass door is broken, both doors and rear window are loose and in the car. Missing left seat. VDO gauges include tachometer. Pan needs new floors, rotted out in the front of both sides. Rolls/steers. Motor runs. Have not attempted to drive it, you see the snow in the pictures from the day it arrived. Wheels are Chevrolet pattern bolted to the VW drums with adapters. Some damage below left front headlight. Previous owners report the car would do 110 MPH and I'm sure you can get 25-30 MPG out of one of these without too much trouble, although not if you intend to test the top speeds. Bear in mind importing another car from out of state will cost minimum $800-$1000, assuming it runs, not counting any damage done by the shipper (the cheaper the shipper the more likely the vehicle gets damaged), or any repairs needed for things not disclosed by the seller. WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT CARS How to pay: eBay in their infinite (lack of) wisdom has chosen to make Paypal, in person payment, and other credit processing the only acceptable payments on most items. Although regular vehicle listings are exempt, they forgot to exempt this category. So be aware that to use Paypal to pay for this item, it will need to be taken apart into pieces small enough they can be shipped via FedEx or UPS. I can't imagine what the expense of that would be, given some parts would have to literally be destroyed to be small enough for them to accept and ship, and it would require easily hundreds of packages. Any questions, just let me know. Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or $500 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're reasonable, just stay in touch, and if the weather makes the car inaccessable (snow) you're not responsible for storage; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for $50 per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, $10 per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business. Link to RKcar_farm terms and conditions of sale, link allowed as per current eBay rules. .
eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
