1969 Dodge Dart GT Covertible Second owner excellent restoration car! This could be your new winter project!

The Dodge or Mopar enthusiast looking for an all original car for restoration THIS IS THE ONE! Original slant 6 Charger 225 running motor and automatic transmission. This car has some great possibilities with a trunk full of spare parts to make this restoration a bit easier.

I purchased this car from the original owner in 1999 and drove it around town for 2 years. I then put it up on blocks with the intent of a restoration. The car has always been covered with a couple of tarps.

The original slant 6 motor runs well but has a crack in the exhaust manifold. All electrical equipment operates (lights, horn, directionals) except the windshield wipers (spare wiper motor included). The power top works as it should up and down. I didn’t want to lower it all the way down because it needs a new top.

All the glass is intact and all the windows crank up and down. The dashboard is complete with no cracks. The seats are in very good condition with a small tear in the driver’s seat and the top of the rear back seat is torn.

The body has 2 minor dents: one by the passenger side headlight and the other just a bit behind the passenger door. 3 of the 4 floorboards are in excellent condition with no rust. The front passenger side floorboard is rusted through in the forward portion (pictured with carpet removed), the rear section of it is solid.

All the quarter panel ends have some rust as pictured. The trunk pan has some surface rust only, no through holes. The bumpers are ding free and come with a complete set of bumper guards. All the original body moldings are intact except for a small missing piece of chrome on the drivers side lower windshield perimeter by the VIN number.

Convertible top boot cover, spare tire, 2 spare tire cover boards, jack, base and tire iron are included.

The list of Spare Parts (all pictured) included with the car are: perfect front grill with lights, headlights surround chrome, headlights holders, chrome trim piece (location ?), both driver and passenger’s interior front side panels by the floorboards (in blue), bumper guards, ash tray, Dart AM radio, heater unit, windshield wiper motor, rear view mirror, side view mirror, anti freeze overflow tank, locking gas cap, brake pedal rubber cover, 3-rear tail lights covers one is new in the box the other 2 are used some cracks but all pieces are there, rear tail lights chrome trim one is mint the other is cracked on middle cross piece.

I have described the car as best as I can. Sold as is, NO FIRST TIME BIDDERS.

If you plan on doing an inspection it must be done prior to the auction ending. Please contact me to arrange a time. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, will not store for more than 15 days.

The buyer must submit a $500.00 deposit via Paypal due within 2 days of auctions end to secure the vehicle. The buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance in cash at pickup or cashiers check drawn from one of my local banks, due within 7 days of the auctions end. No personal Checks.

If the deposit is not received with 48 hours at the end of the auction, or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the end of the auction, we reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle to another qualified buyer.
