Vehicle Description

You are bidding on a 1972 Lear 24D with Avcon RVSM. N440KT, serial# 249. CJ610-8A Engines!!! 12 Year Inspection completed 1/08. Excellent opportunity to own a fast, reliable aircraft for the price of a Duke.

Aircraft Information: 10,670 TTSN. 12 Year Inspection completed 4/2008. "A" Inspection completed 2/2009. Avcon RVSM completed 7/2007. Complete records since new. No known damage history. The RVSM alone, installed, costs over $125K. Air Conditioning.

Engines: 2 General Electric CJ610-8A engines. Engine #1 (RH) serial# 211-265A. 2,480 Since Overhaul by BizJet. 610 Since Hot Section by BizJet. 200 compressor cycles remaining. Engine #2 (LH) serial# 211-263A. 2,480 Since Overhaul by BizJet, 610 Since Hot Section by BizJet. 110 Compressor cycles remaining. Boths HOTS have very good cycles remaining! All times are approx.

Avionics: Collins Pro Line Nav/Coms, Collins DME. Collins Dual Transponders. Jet Auto Pilot. Dual Trimble IFR GPS's. Pilot/Co-pilot intercom system. Auto Pilot components overhauled in 2007 during RVSM certification.

Exterior: Very nice exterior condition. White with metallic blue and metallic gold trim.      

Interior: Nice servicable leather interior. Forward refreshment center. Some chips in the wood veneer. Forward potty. Nice headliner.

Many of these older Lears have been sitting outdoors, and neglected. This is NOT one of those planes. It has been hangared, and has excellent maintenance history!!

You are welcome and encouraged to come inspect the aircraft and it's records in Madera, CA (MAE). Any mechanical inspections requested will need to be completed in Madera prior to the close of the sale. You are welcome to send your mechanic, and use our facility for the inspection. Title will be transferred through FAA Bill of Sale via escrow at Aero Space Reports in Oklahoma City, OK. The aircraft is being sold as-is where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Delivery will be the responsibility of the successful bidder to arrange. We can help assist in delivery...ask for details. California buyers will pay sales tax.

A deposit of $5,000.00 is due via PayPal or certified funds within 48 hours of the close of the sale. The balance of the payment must be forwarded to escrow within 5 business days of the close of the sale. Closing will take place on the 6th business day via escrow. No Exceptions!!
