  You are bidding on a 1973
Alfa Romeo Spyder I have owned this car for
over 20 years. It was restored cosmetically in 1988-1989. It was serviced at
Mike Besic Motorsports in Glen Ellyn, IL (Chicago). He said it was one of the
fastest he’d worked on. I recently moved and no
longer have spare garage space to store it in. Condition: non-running;
ran before sitting; sitting for 4 years; ran great before sitting; cold start solenoid was bad and
caused non-starting condition; transmission-2nd gear synchro out; floor-rusty (Has been rusty ever since I’ve had it. Rocker panels starting to
bubble, see photos) front bumper-driver’s side damaged, but intact and removed; passenger
side bumper OK; lights-OK; no radio; Fuel injection pump timing belt - new gauges-all working; glass-good; window-good; dash-cracks; wipers-slow; exhaust-good;heater fan-blows; heater-working;
wheels-original Campanolo steel-good; rear bumper-good stainless top wrinkled, top-good (faded black…now almost light gray); rear window-good; tires-old and need replacing;seats-covers are
good; backseat-good; rear springs-new.replaced a few years ago- 0 miles This car has a salvage
title. It was a theft recovery and had minor body damage when I got it, but it is not a rebuilder. I only put 5-6000 miles in
all the years I’ve had it. It was garaged. Please come and give this “diamond
in the rough” new life. Needs a good home. Please restore
