For Sale 1978 Triumph Spitfire 1500 Convertible This British racing green convertible has been a true pleasure to own over the last four years. I purchased it with 101,897 miles on it and have since put on another 3,000 miles. Runs great and starts right away with the manual choke. Does not overheat and makes a great spring/summer/fall car. I’ve stored it in the winter and it has always been garage kept. I’ve recently replaced the battery and entire exhaust system. Car has also had various upgrades (steering wheel, front/rear bumpers) to look more like an early 70’s Spitfire. Car is rust free but will need a new coat of paint at some point. However mechanically it runs superb. Interior is very clean and stereo has a very good amplifier that allows you to hear your tunes when the top is down.
