The XL500R parts that I am selling are all from a craigslist parts bike: 1982 Honda XL500R Serial number JH2 PD0206 CM002758 Manufactured 12/81 Parts are in good condition, but well-used, unless otherwise noted. This bike spent the end of its life as a woods bike. Some parts feature black spray paint or overspray. The bike died of a catastrophic piston failure because the wristpin seized in the small end of the connecting rod. That is all I know about the bike’s history.
Overall good condition. See photos.
Any and all parts should be cleaned and inspected by the buyer. Parts have only been subjected to visual inspection. Any obvious flaws are noted or shown in photos.
