1984-5 Ford 2.0L Diesel engine: Don't know much about this engine other than it's not set up, what you see is what I got, it's complete except for an alternator and comes with a loose starter and a couple other pieces plus some nuts and bolts in a can. It has a manual trans flywheel and clutch on it. Front is marked E4EC-6030-AB on the bracket in the middle of the toming cover. I see another listing asking $400 for one, complete in need of rebuild, and noting these are pretty rare motors. If I had to buy one here from the you-pull-it junkyard it would cost me $175 ($140 plus $35 core charge), so I'm pricing it at what it would cost to buy from them. I know little to nothing about these motors other than they can be converted to run biodiesel or waste vegetable oil fairly easily and will get 40+ MPG. This motor was apparently removed from the car an unknown number of years ago and saved, or perhaps purchased from a junkyard as it has a salvage yard sticker on the valve cover (from Maryland at that). It was stored inside a dry garage. Was mixed in with some VW Rabbit parts that all had been saved because they were good, so I presume that's why this was saved too. For the Buy It Now price I'll include the cart it sits on, which has casters on the bottom. If you do use Buy It Now be aware it won't be available for pickup before October 5th. No Reserve. Shipping: This is a pickup only item but I would be willing to consider delivering it up to 200 miles from Syracuse NY for my gas figured at about 14 MPG plus $20. I did just locate a weight figure for these motors online at roughly 250 lbs so two guys aught to be able to lift it out of my Suburban pretty easily. If you wish to pick it up you can either pick it up at the location given above or I can bring it to Syracuse if that helps. I did bring this home with me, but I'm not sure I can get it back in my truck after it's out. I did find out this will walk up and down a wood ramp fairly easily if you're careful with it. I could probably put it on a pallet but I have no means to band it down. Storage: Can't come get it right away? I'll hold it 30 days no charge as long as it's paid for. Beyond that you'll need to make arrangements with us. Payment: Looks like I can still take check or money order in Motors listings. At least I have the options available. I don't accept Paypal on items that are not shipped because if a buyer should file an item not recieved claim, I can't prove I shipped it with a tracking number. Payment in person is also acceptable.
