I bought this 1986 Honda Shadow VT700 a few months ago.  It had been sitting for about the last three years unused.  I turned it over to Dan O'Shea to bring it back to life.  The carbs and tank were cleaned out, it got a new battery AND a new set of Dunlop tires.  I rode it up and down the street a few times and this bike is just right. It has just 4,275 original miles on it and its just as pretty in person as it looks in the pictures.  As good as it looks, it actually needs to be professionally detailed - and then it would be very close to showroom condition.  If you're looking for a classic Shadow/Magna, look no further.  If you're looking for a bargain, keep looking!  It's very important that your read all of the following:

BIKE SALES   This bike is for pickup only in Barrington, NJ zip 08007 which is close to Philadelphia, PA and exit 3 of the NJ Turnpike.  To guard against scammers and other problem bidders, here’s how I handle all bike purchases: A non-refundable $100 deposit will be paid within 24 hours of the end of the sale. If that is not received, the bike will immediately be offered to the 2^nd bidder or re-sold as I see fit. I rarely have cross-reference information so I’m unlikely to know if this particular part will fit on a different year/model bike.  I don’t want to mislead you, so I suggest that you use your own internet resources before bidding.  I do not guarantee the functionality of any part (used or NOS) that is 20+ years old; I will describe its condition as best I can. I think it very reasonable to expect payment within a week of auction’s end.  I accept PayPal OR US Postal Money Orders for domestic parts sales however you need to email me if you’re sending a USPS money order and send it promptly.  I accept ONLY PayPal for international parts sales.
