Hi, this item is a hood for a 1988 ford thunderbird turbo coupe. The paint is oxidized but chances are yours was not blue anyway, so it needs repained but its in excellent condition and not rusted up like most are. I have many other parts I will be listing.

The engine has 129,000 miles on it but has excellent oil pressure, it always ran high oil pressure. The valve cover leaks a bit in the back, as a friend put a new gasket on and it may not have sealed good in a spot at the back. In the car replacing the gasket looks like a real pain thats probably why it leaks still. There was something wrong in the electronics because if it was the least bit warm out it would run like 15 or 20 minutes down the road and would die but if winter would keep running. Maybe ignition module or computer possibly. And the turbo seal leaks so at times the engine would smoke slightly and the turbo did work, but probably needs rebuilt with new seals.

Please note I"am not a salvage yard and I will not take little parts off items that are good, such as I will not sell the emblem off the good deck lid, nor will I sell the straps off the door panels. 

Such as the door panels are good so I will not sell the arm rests off them or the pull straps, the door panels will sell complete, and so on.

So if you want emblems and stuff I will only sell them if the part like fenders are bad which fenders are rusty so are the doors, but panels sell complete.

I wont raid little items off a major part unless the major part is bad.

I hate to sound like a dick but I keep getting people emailing thinking I"am going to sell them an emblem off a good part like the trunk lid.

The steering wheel also goes with the tilt column, and no I wont sell the horn button off the steering wheel.

I will list accessories off the engine like alternator, starter and etc, but the motor stays complete with the turbo parts attached, so no turbo parts will be sold, it all will be sold with the motor.

The 2.3 turbo motor came with better heads and it came from the factory with forged connecting rods. People build these 2.3 turbo motors to put out a surprising amount of horsepower. So this 2.3 turbo motor would be great for just about any ford car or ranger or bronco 2 or etc that it would fit in.

All wiring will go with the motor too. I may sell the car whole if the right price is offered, but no matter what the complete rear end is not for sale, I REPEAT THE COMPLETE REAR END CALIPERS, ROTORS AND CABLES ARE NOT FOR SALE.

The transmission is bad as reverse is out. The automatic shifter is not for sale either.
