I'm now listing this Alfa Romeo again due to a series of bidders that failed to follow up with me after winning the bid.  Each of these bidders had "0" feedback, so this time I'm afraid I will not be able to accept any bids from anybody with a "0" feedback score.  PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BUY THIS CAR.  So here is another chance to bid on this classic Alfa Romeo, and I've even lowered the starting no-reserve bid amount.  Compare to others listed on eBay and elsewhere, and you will see that this one is the best deal hands down.

Up for bid is a very nice used 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce convertible.  It is black with a black soft top, and tan leather seats and trim.  The carpet and other trim is black.  This car only has 40,500 original miles on the odometer!  It is a 5-speed manual transmission, cold a/c, power windows, power brakes, power steering, power mirrors, new battery/brake caliper, the original Alfa AM/FM/cassette, and much more.  The Pirelli P4000 tires are in great shape.  The original black paint has some minor blemishes here and there, but there is no rust on this car.  There is a very small indentation (less than ½ inch) behind the driver’s door that could probably be pulled out by one of those no paint dent removal companies.  My dad put on a new soft top a number of years ago, and it has always been garaged.  The car includes a black roll bar which is bolted in for extra safety.  It can be easily removed if you don't want it, but does add safety and gives the car a bit of a race car look!

Everything works great on the car except for a couple of minor things.  First, the right-hand (passenger) door lock is not working (I assume the cable is unhooked inside the door but I haven’t had time to tackle it).  Also, for some reason, the A/C only works when the parking light or headlight switch is on.  When I needed the a/c, I always just put the parking lights on.  Also, when the a/c switch is on, the air bag light in the dash will blink at times.  Again, never caused a problem, but wanted you to know the details.  I assume somebody handy at following the wiring diagram schematics could figure that one out.  I did purchase a new $155 Alfa Romeo factory service manual for the car that goes with it.  All of those wiring diagrams and anything else you could ever want to know about the car and how to fix it is in there.  I do have the owner’s manual as well.  I never did mount the front license plate, but I did purchase the front license plate brackets, which will also go with the car.

This car has a fresh (July 2009) Virginia safety and emissions inspection and is ready to drive home anywhere.  It is a really fun car with plenty of power to move it along.  The 1990-1993 Series 4 Spiders were the last ones imported into the United States (except for a few limited edition Commemorative Editions badged as 1994 models but produced also in 1993).  This is a beautiful example of one of the last of these Italian classics.  Shop around and you will see what a great deal this car is.  If you are local and would like to take a look at it, let me know.  Weekends usually work best, but evenings may work as well during the week. The winning bidder will also receive the original soft top black "boot" cover that goes over the folded down soft top to keep out dirt and dust while driving.  I also have a custom fit Evolution 4 indoor/outdoor tan car cover that will be included with this vehicle.
