1996-2008 Vortec 4.3L 5.0L 5.7L 75mm high flow throttle blade kit

You supply the time and simple shop tools – we supply the blade kit to make more power

Great for stock motors, slightly modified (such as headers, intake kit, etc) or this is required for heavily modified motors

Fits: 

• 1996-2000 5.0L & 5.7L Vortec V8 – full size trucks, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade, Denali,  + more

Will this kit affect gas mileage? – NO – absolutely not - under the same driving conditions.  In fact, you’ll probably notice better gas mileage as our high flow kit allows your motor to breath easier which means it doesn’t have to work as hard to make the same power

Will my ECM/Computer set any codes? NO – we have installed 100’s of the kits w/ no reported ECM problems

Why was the “air diverter” installed and why do I want to remove it? When GM produced the Vortec motor, they discovered that they made a lot of low end power - in fact too much for most drivers.   Testing showed that many customers would complain because of the hard launch.  They installed the air diverter to “de-tune” the Vortec motor and tame the launch.  However, we are all power hungry and want that stiff launch – right?  Plus more top end HP is nice too.

Will this effect my emissions testing? NO – this modification will not change your vehicles emissions in any way and since the modification can’t be seen by the inspector, the visual test is no problem either
