This is a very common upgrade that people perform on cars with an LT1 engine to prevent the computer from pulling out excessive timing. This modification will help your car perform better, especially at higher rpm's. All you have to do is pull the cover off the back of the electronic control module (ECM) and switch the modules. This can be performed in minutes with simple hand tools.
