Here's how it works .....

After installation the first time your Mustang is started push the traction control button once to turn it off (light on) and from this moment on the Black Box II remembers your last setting and every time you start your Mustang the Black Box II will turn the traction control off with no input from you. If you wish to have the traction control ON (light off) then push the button one time turning the traction control back on and it will be on every time from that moment on without any input from you until you change it again. As an added benefit the Black Box II comes complete with non-volatile memory meaning it does not use the cars battery to save your setting. The Black Box II is programmed to wait until the traction control circuit has completed self testing itself every time you start your Mustang and then goes into action within 8 seconds bypassing the traction control automatically. As with the original Black Box for Alpine video displays and the Black Box III Mustang Tach adapter, the Black Box II is thoroughly tested before receiving approval for sale and serial number. You will not be disappointed, we have extensively tested the Black Box II without having one failure or error. Included is complete detailed instructions and wiring diagram AND required wire splicers and connectors.

Please read all instructions and review the wiring diagram before beginning installation. If you feel this installation is too difficult, have a professional do the installation for you. Two trim pieces (shifter bezel and dash trim from around radio, heater controls, vents) must be removed to install the Black Box II. These two trim pieces pop off, but be very careful not to break them after all they are plastic.
