Vehicle Description

Up for auction is a nice, clean, garage-kept 1999 Yamaha XL1200LTD Waverunner and trailer. This has the 155 hp powervalve engine. Engine is currently not running. I bought this waverunner with a blown third cylinder due to an oil line failure. It is now premix. I bought 3 new cylinders and pistons ($900 alone for the entire top end rebuild and gaskets!) and reassembled. When I got it together, I started it up and found there was water getting into the cylinders. Most likely needs a top end gasket overhaul and you should be good to go.

The exhaust is off and the cylinders/pistons are currently off as well. Motor still looks good. You will be able to see on pickup. There was no damage when the motor ingested because I immediately shut it off when it started to sputter. This motor ran great when it was out of the water. Just don't put it in the water. Unfortunately, a waverunner isn't much fun to rev while sitting on the trailer. I'm sick of working on it and need it out of the garage. I already bought a GP1200 and need to sell this. All this unit should need is a $200 gasket overhaul and it should be good to go.

This does come with the very nice Karavan trailer it is sitting on in the pictures.

I have title and all paperwork in my name for both the Yamaha and the trailer.
