Combined Shipping

Sellers are now required to use eBay's automated shipping calculator to specify shipping costs.  Although it works reasonably well for single items, you may get overcharged on multiple/combined purchases.  If you will simply email us and request your total prior to paying, we will be glad to figure your actual shipping and send a corrected invoice.  There are no "packing" or "handling" charges of any kind.

U.S. Shipments

        FedEx

Although the eBay system displays a shipping price for UPS, we do not have a UPS account, and we ship FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery only.  All FedEx shipments include free insurance and a tracking number sent to your eBay email address.

        Priority Mail

Priority is usually cheaper and often faster for light to medium weight items.  Delivery confirmation is included but point-to-point package tracking is not.  Insurance is available at additional cost.

        Priority Flat-Rate Boxes

(Small) Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box:   Ship unlimited weight for only $4.95, as long as everything fits into the 8.5" x 5.5" x 1.5" corrugated box.

(Medium) Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box:   Ship up to seventy (70) pounds for only $10.95, as long as everything fits into the 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" corrugated box.

(Large) Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box:   Ship up to seventy (70) pounds for only $13.95, as long as everything fits into the 12" x 12" x 5.5" corrugated box.

Flat-Rate is unbeatable for shipping hardware and other small/heavy items.  We have developed methods of double-boxing very heavy Flat-Rate shipments for added security.  Delivery confirmation is included but point-to-point package tracking is not.  Insurance is available at additional cost.

International (Non-US) Shipments

We ship all international packages through the US Postal Service, and we charge actual postal shipping rates.  We no longer charge a handling fee for any international shipments because of the increased volume of our international sales.  We thank our international customers for making this possible.

First Class Mail International:  Price is based on weight, maximum weight is (4) pounds [1.81 Kilograms], delivery time averages about ten days, but can occasionally take several weeks.  Confirmation of shipping is provided by the customs document number, but no point-to-point tracking or insurance is available.

Priority Mail International:  Price is based on package weight and dimensions.  Maximum weight/dimensions vary by country.  We use Priority Mail and occasionally Express Mail for larger/heavier packages that exceed the limits of cheaper options.  Delivery time averages about 7 to 10 business days.  Online tracking and (partial) insurance is included free.

Priority Mail International Flat-Rate Envelope:  Fixed price regardless of weight, up to (4) pounds [1.81 Kilograms].  $10.95 to Canada and Mexico, and $12.95 to all other countries.  Items must fit into a 12.5" x 9.5" cardboard envelope, and the envelope must close and seal properly.  Not suitable for bulky or angular items, or those needing protection from crushing or breakage.  Delivery time averages about 7 to 10 business days.  Shipping confirmation is provided by the customs document number, but no point-to-point tracking or insurance is available.

(Small) Priority Mail International Flat-Rate Box:  Fixed price regardless of weight, up to (4) pounds [1.81 Kilograms].  $10.95 to Canada and Mexico, and $12.95 to all other countries.  Excellent for shipping bagged hardware, small parts, etc.  Items must fit into an 8.5" x 5.5" x 1.5" corrugated box, and the box must close without distorting.  Delivery time averages about 7 to 10 business days.  Shipping confirmation is provided by the customs document number, but no point-to-point tracking or insurance is available.

(Medium) Priority Mail International Flat-Rate Box:  Fixed price regardless of weight, up to (20) pounds [9.1 Kilograms].  $25.95 to Canada and Mexico, and $41.95 to all other countries.  Items must fit into an 11" x 8.5" x 5.5" corrugated box, and the box must close without distorting.  Delivery time averages about 7 to 10 business days.  Online tracking and (partial) insurance is included free.

        Customs

Customs fees and other import taxes are imposed by some countries.  We have no way of determining these costs prior to shipment, and all such costs are the responsibility of the customer upon delivery.  We will not mark packages as gifts or declare false item values to reduce customs costs at the border.  Customs fraud is a serious crime in the US and we will not accept that risk.  Thank you in advance for understanding.

We cannot possibly stay informed concerning the import requirements of every country in the world.  It is the responsibility of the buyer -- before purchasing -- to ensure that a particular item complies with all of his country's laws and regulations, and that it can be legally imported into his country.

Customs Delays:  We have noticed that about 1% of international packages get held in foreign customs offices for extended periods (sometimes for several weeks).  Fortunately, almost all are eventually delivered.  Delays are more likely to occur in smaller countries or those with highly protectionist import policies.  Such delays are unacceptable in our opinion, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about them.

Payment Terms

Payments must be received within (10) days unless you have made other arrangements with us.  We accept all types of payments, including all major credit cards, through Paypal.  EBay now prohibits sellers from offering acceptance of non-electronic payments, except for certain in-person transactions.

Returns

Any item may be returned to us within seven (7) days for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs.  Items which are listed specifically "as-is" are excluded from this refund policy.

Feedback

We leave feedback after the transaction is complete.  No transaction is complete until the customer has received their purchase and is satisfied.  If something needs to be refunded, the transaction is complete when the item has been returned and the customer has received their refund.  We do not cave in to extortion but we do make every reasonable effort to satisfy every customer.  If any item fails to meet your expectations, within the description posted in the listing, please contact us so we can make things right.  We want to earn your repeat business.
