 -Well triangulated and super safe/rigid cage, is desert tested to be extremely durable -Can be used in Sand or Desert.

 Question: If I buy the basic frame, is there more welding required?

        Answer: Yes, If you purchase the base frame, there is still welding required to match your motor, tranny, suspension, steering…..

Question: Can I purchase a frame that will not require any welding/fabrication?

        Answer: Yes, if you already know which motor/tranny combo you are using, and suspension (and other components) we can fabricate everything. CALL FOR PRICING!

Question: Is this frame available in Chromoly?

 Answer: Yes, usually an added $1,000. You can call our office, and we can discuss what we use on our cars and why.

Question: How much travel does the car pictured have?

     Answer: The red car and the bare metal colored car in these pictures has 28” of travel in the front and 23” in the rear. How much travel you end up with will depend on what suspension you choose to go with.

Question: What are the dimensions of this car when complete?

     Answer: The two seat car is approx 13’ long. The width will depend on suspension. If you have specific dimension requirements (due to trailer size) let us know, and we can make sure that your final product will meet your needs.

Question: Are the pictured suspension parts available through you?

      Answer: Yes, all parts to complete this car, or convert your buggy to this long travel car, are available through SoCal Sandcars. If you purchase a frame from us, all parts will be at a 10% discount off listed MSRP price.

Question: How do I know if I’m getting the steering and front end geometry correct?

      Answer: If you purchase our arms, all of the geometry has been tested. We will help you set your car up correctly. If you decide to make or purchase your suspension/steering parts elsewhere, we will still help you, but we can not guarantee the geometry.

 Question: If I’m converting an old school style buggy/beam car to this long travel car, what parts can I use and what will I still have to purchase?

      Answer: You can use anything that you feel you want to. If you are comfortable with your motor/tranny combo, you can definitely use it. Only you know what your driving habits are. You can use pretty much anything off of your old buggy that you want other than the frame and suspension parts. Give us a call, and we can go over it with you.

Question: If I’m converting an old school/beam car style buggy, to this long travel car; can I bring my car and/or parts to you to install for me?

     Answer: Yes, we can convert your entire buggy for you, or if you just need a little help, you can bring it by.
