THIS AUCTION IS FOR MY SPORTSMAN ASPHALT STOCK CAR.IT IS A 1985 MONTE CARLO CHASSIS WITH A WINSTON CUP 2002 MONTE CARLO CUTOFF BODY ON IT,THE BODY IS STEEL WITH HEAVY DUTY FIBERGLASS NOSE AND TAIL SECTION ON IT AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE EXCEPT ONE CORNER OF THE DECKLID WAS BENT SOME WHEN A GUST OF WIND CAUGHT IT ONE DAY,THE BODY HASN'T BEEN RACED AT ALL SINCE IT WAS MOUNTED ON THE CHASSIS,IT HAS A 5" ALUMINUM SPOILER WITH BILLET ALUMINUM SPOILER ADJUSTERS AND BILLET ALUMINUM HOOD SUPPORTS,ALL ALUMINUM DUCTWORK FOR THE RADIATOR IS INSTALLED.I HAVE A COMPLETE SPARE NOSE FROM THE HOME DEPOT #20 CAR,IT'S A 2006 NOSE BUT WILL FIT THE CAR AND I HAVE A COUPLE OF BRAND NEW 5 STAR FIBERGLASS REAR BUMPER COVERS FOR IT AND THE CAR HAS 10" WIDE WHEELS ON IT AND I HAVE 4 OR 5 SPARES THAT GO WITH IT TOO.WE BUILT THE CAR ORIGINALY IN 2000 AND RACED IT WITH THE '85 MONTE CARLO BODY ON IT FOR A FEW SEASONS WITH SEVERAL TOP 5 FINISHES AND A SECOND PLACE FINISH TO IT'S CREDIT,THE CHASSIS HASN'T RACED SINCE THE END OF '06 DUE TO A ON THE JOB INJURY SO IT'S TIME TO LET IT GO.THE ROLL CAGE IS A 1 3/4" KIT FROM CSC AND HAS 4 DOOR BARS IN EACH DOOR AS WELL AS A FEW EXTRA BARS NOT REQUIRED BY MANY TRACKS BUT BECAUSE I RACED @ A FAST 1/2 MILE TRACK I WANTED ALL I COULD GET AS FAR AS BARS WENT.THE CAR COMES WITH WILWOOD ALUMINUM CALIPERS UP FRONT ON SWEET SPINDLES AND HOWE 5 ON 5 HUBS,IT HAS TUBELAR UPPER CONTROL ARMS,TUBELAR TIE RODS WITH HEIM ENDS,STOCK LOWER CONTROL ARMS THAT HAVE BEEN MODIFIED FOR CHASSIS CLEARANCE AND TO ACCEPT A SCREW IN BALL JOIINT.IT HAS A PORT CITY /LEFTHANDER STYLE FRONT SWAY BAR AND SWAY BAR ADJUSTER ON IT WITH PRO SHOCKS & 1100# AND 1200# HYPERCOIL SPRINGS UP FRONT AND 175/200 # SPRINGS ON REAR,ALSO WITH PRO SHOCKS AND JACK BOLTS ON ALL 4 CORNERS,THE DRIVESHAFT AND TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER COME WITH THE CAR.THE REAR END IS A STOCK CAR PRODUCTS FULL FLOATER REAR FROM A NASCAR CUP CAR AND HAS SPEEDWAY ENGINEERING 5 ON 5 BILLET STEEL HUBS AND 31 SPLINE AXLES,THE GEAR THAT IS IN THE CAR NOW IS A RICHMOND 4;39 PRO SERIES GEAR SET WITH A 31 SPLINE MINI SPOOL IN IT .....IT HAS CNC ALUMINUM MASTER CYLINDERS FOR FRONT BRAKES,THE REAR BRAKES AND FOR THE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH.IT HAS SWING MOUNTED CLUTCH AND BRAKE PEDALS WITH ADJUSTABLE BRAKE BIAS BUT THE ADJUSTER CABLE IS PRETTY STIFF AND MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED OR IT MAY BE FREED UP WITH WD 40 OR SOMETHING,THE CAR HAS A NOMEX LINED FLOOR MAT UNDER THE DRIVERS LEGS AND FEET AND SOME HEAT REFLECTIVE INSULATION OVER THE REST OF THE INTERIOR FLOOR TO KEEP INSIDE TEMPS TO A MIMIMUM,IT HAS A FIREWALL MOUNTED THROTTLE PEDAL WITH A ROLLER ON IT FOR SMOOTH THROTTLE RESPONSE.IT COMES WITH A 22 GALLON ATL FUEL CELL FROM A NASCAR CUP CAR BUT IT IS A FEW YEARS OLD SO THE BLADDER ISN'T CURRENT FOR NASCAR USE BUT IS GOOD FOR OTHER SERIES.....WE RACED WITH IT FOR SEVERAL SEASONS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT WHEN WE RACED BUT THE LAST TIME IT WAS FUELED UP WE NOTICED A SMALL GAS LEAK AT THE RIGHT REAR CORNER OF THE FUEL CELL CAN SO I BELEIVE THE BLADDER IS LEAKING & WILL EITHER NEED REPLACED OR I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT IT CAN BE PROFESSIONALY REPAIRED BY ATL FOR A NONIMINAL FEE,IT'S NEVER BEEN CRASHED,DROPPED OR ANYTHING OUT OF THE NORMAL AND IT HASN'T HAD ANY FUEL IN IT A LOT MORE THAN IT HAS HAD FUEL IN IT SO I CAN'T IMAGINE WHY IT'D BE LEAKING AT ALL BUT IT IS ....IT HAS A NASCAR APROVED BILLET ALUMINUM FAST FILL TOP PLATE WITH ROLLOVER BALLS AND HAS A TRICK SPRING LOADED OVERFILL VALVE THAT CAME FROM DALE EARNHARDT INC,THE HOSES FOR THE FENDER MOUNTED FILL NECK AND THE OVER FLOW VALVE ARE INCLUDED BUT THE FUEL LINE FROM FRONT TO REAR OF CAR HAS BEEN REMOVED.IT HAS A QUICKCAR MASTER BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH AND IT HAS THE COMPLETE 2 AWG QUICKCAR BATTERY CABLES THAT ARE IN GREAT SHAPE,HATFEILD IGNITION SYSTEMS IGNITION SWITCH PANEL WITH TOGGLE SWITCHES AND ALL WIRING NEEDED FOR IGNITION OFF/ON,START,RADIATOR FAN,DUAL IGNITION BOXES,DUAL COILS, AND ASSECORY FOR BLOWERS FOR DRIVER,BRAKES ECT.....IT'S ALL WIRED FOR DUAL IGNITION SYSTEMS WITH WEATHERPACK CONNECTORS AND SEALED ENDS ON THE TERMINALS,IT'S A HIGH QUALITY PIECE & COST OVER $600.00 WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT NEW .IT HAS A NASCAR COLAPSABLE ALUMINUM STEERING COLUMN AND LONGACRE ALUMINUM STEERING WHEEL WITH SQUEEZE TYPE QUICK RELEASE,THE STEERING SHAFT HAS UNIVERSAL JOINTS AND HEIM ENDS TO ROUTE IT AROUND THE EXHAUST SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BEAT UP YOUR $500.00 HEADERS TO MAKE THEM CLEAR THE STEERING SHAFT AND IT HAS AN-6 FITTINGS IN THE POWER STEERING BOX,NOT SURE OF THE RATIO BUT IT WORKED GREAT ON THE 3/8 AND 1/2 MILE TRACKS WE RACED IT ON.. IT HAS A HEAT SHEILD LINED NOMEX BOOT TO SEAL THE FIREWALL WHERE THE THROTTLE LINKAGE PASSES THROUGH IT THAT HAS A CARBON FIBER MOUNTING BEZEL ON IT AND CAME FROM A RCR CUP CAR....IT COMES WITH A SIMPSON HEAT SHEILD SHIFTER BOOT AND A NEW WINDOW NET HAS BEEN INSTALLED WITH LATCHBAR AND FIRE EXTINGUSHER IS INCLUDED TOO, .THE CHASSIS IS IN STOCK FORM EXCEPT THE REAR PORTION OF IT WHERE OUR TRACK LET US CHANGE THE FRAME RAILS AS LONG AS ALL ORIGINAL MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE REAR END WERE USED WHICH THEY ARE,THE TRAILING ARMS ARE TUBELAR WITH HEIM ENDS FOR ADJUSTMENT BUT YOU COULD EASILY GO BACK TO STOCK TRAILING ARMS IF YOUR RULES WON'T ALLOW ADJUSTABLE ONES....YOU MAY BE ABLE TO SEE THAT ALL MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE REAR ARE IN STOCK LOCATION AND THE FACTORY PIECE IS STILL USED TO ATTACH THE TRAILING ARMS,IT'S JUST THE SECTION THAT GOES OVER THE REAR END & HOLDS THE FUEL CELL THAT'S BEEN MODIFIED.....THE REAR THE REAR END CHUNK IS A 4.39 RICHMOND PRO SERIES GEAR SET WITH A 31 SPLINE MINI SPOOL . THIS HAS BEEN A GOOD,SOLID & CONSISTANT RACE CAR FOR ME AND I HATE TO SEE IT GO BUT I'M TIRED OF LOOKING AT IT IF I CAN'T RACE IT SO IT'S TIME TO PASS IT ON BUT I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE IT AWAY OR ONE OF MY BUDDIES WOULD BE RACING IT TODAY SO PLEASE NO INSULTING OFFERS OR THEY WILL BE IGNORED....THERE'S REALLY A LOT OF NICE PIECES ON THE CAR,EASILY TWICE AS MUCH IN JUST PARTS ALONE AS THE ASKING PRICE IS ON THIS ONE,JUST ADD YOUR RUNNING GEAR,SEAT AND BELTS ALONG WITH SOME BOLT ON ITEMS AND BE READY TO GO RACING........IN THE LAST FEW PICTURES YOU'LL SEE SOME PICTURES OF THE TRAILER THAT THIS CAR FITS ONTO PERFECTLY FORWARD OR BACKWARD AS THE PICTURES SHOW,THE TRAILER WAS BUILT TO HAUL A FORMER ALL PRO TRAVELING SERIES LATE MODEL CAR TO RACE TRACKS ALL OVER THE SOUTHEAST,IT'S A VERY WELL MADE TRAILER THAT COULD USE A NEW PAINT JOB BUT OTHERWISE IS READY TO HAUL WHATEVER YOU WANT......THE HEAVY DUTY HUBS ON THE TRAILER ARE ATTACHED DIRECTLY TO THE FRAME SO THE TRAILER DOESN'T HAVE AXLES UNDER IT SO IT'S A VERY LOW TRAILER AND YOU CAN FIT THE LOWEST OF LOWRIDERS ON IT,FROM A LATE MODEL TO A MINI STOCKER AND ANYTHING IN BETWEEN.....IT'S ONLY ABOUT 11" OFF THE GROUND TO THE DECK AT THE BACK WITH THE TRAILER LEVEL.... THE TRAILER IS FOR SALE ALSO AND IT IS A VERY WELL BUILT OLDER HOME MADE TRAILER WITH A 16' SOLID DECK ON IT THAT'S TREADPLATE STEEL WITH A HUGE BOX ON FRONT TO STORE EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO RACE.IT HAS A CRAFTSMAN TOP AND BOTTOM BOX MOUNTED INSIDE THAT GO WITH IT AND IT HAS A 3000# WINCH MOUNTED TO THE FLOOR INSIDE THE BOX TH KEEP IT OUT OF SITE AND PROTECTED FROM THE ELEMENTS.....THERE'S TONS OF ROOM INSIDE THE BOX AND IT WILL HOLD A SPARE ENGINE,JACK AND STANDS,EXTRA PARTS,ECT.ON TOP IS A DECK TO WATCH THE RACE AND A TIRE RACK TO HOLD A FULL SET OF SPARES FOR THE CAR AND A SPARE FOR THE TRAILER,THERE'S TONS OF BRACING BUILT INTO THE FRAMEWORK OF THE BOX SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BENDING THE TOP OF THE BOX IN WHEN 4 OR 5 PEPOLE CLIMB ONTO THE TRAILER TO WATCH THE RACE,AS I SAID THE TRAILER WAS VERY WELL BUILT AND I HAVE NEVER HAD IT WEIGHED SINCE I BOUGHT IT BUT IT IS A HEAVY TRAILER AND WILL NEED AT LEAST A 3/4 TON TRUCK TO TOW IT BUT A 1 TON DUALLY WOULD PULL IT BEST,IT NEEDS A COUPLE OF TIRES ON IT AND I'LL PUT ON SOME DECENT USED ONES SO IT CAN TOWED,IT HAS ELECTRIC BRAKES BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT'S ON 2 OR 4 WHEELS AND I HAVEN'T HAD THEM HOOKED TO MY TRUCK AS I DIDN'T HAVE THE CORRECT PLUG ON THE TRUCK SO WHEN I BOUGHT IT I TOWED IT HOME WITHOUT THE LIGHTS PLUGED IN....I BOUGHT SOME NEW TAILLIGHTS FOR IT BUT THEY WILL NEED TO BE HOOKED UP.THE TRAILER WAS SOLD TO ME WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY AS A UNTITLED HOMEMADE TRAILER AND WILL BE SOLD THE SAME WAY WITH A BILL OF SALE FROM ME TO YOU AND I'LL INCLUDE A TE BILL OF SALE I RECEIVED WHEN I BOUGHT IT TOO BUT I NEVER GOT AROUND TO GETTING IT TAGGED SO I DON'T HAVE A TAG RECEIPT FOR IT,MOST STATES WILL ALLOW A HOMETRAILER TO BE TITLED WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE OF THE TRAILER OR AT LEAST RECEIPTS FOR THE PIECES USED TO BUILD IT AND GEORGIA IS ONE OF THE STATES THAT IS THIS WAY BUT YOU'LL NEED TO CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL TAG AND TITLE OFFICE TO SEE IF YOU CAN TITLE IT IN YOUR STATE THAT WAY..........THE TRAILER WOULD EASILY COST TWICE WHAT I'M ASKING FOR IT IN JUST THE MATERIALS ALONE THAT'S NEEDED TO BUILD IT NOT COUNTING THE LABOR OR ANY OF THE EXTRAS THAT COME WITH THIS ONE.....I'LL TAKE 1800.00 FOR THE TRAILER ALONE OR $4000.00 AS A PACKAGE DEAL WITH THE CAR AND I'LL THROW IN SOME EXTRAS LIKE 4 GOOD JACK STANDS AND THE ALUMINUM JACK THAT I USED WITH THE CAR ALONG WITH ALUMINUM TOE PLATES AND A FEW OTHER PIT GOODIES LIKE TIRE GAUGE,TIRE TAPES,ECT........THAT'S THE BEST DEAL YOU'LL EVER FIND TO BE ABLE TO GET STARTED IN RACING OR TO MOVE UP A CLASS
