The HUNTER 216 is a truly great looking sailboat and it has room for the whole family. This sail boat can hold up to 6 people on board. We wrote this description in good faith. We tried to take pictures of everything on the boat, but there could be few things missing. Front sail is also on the boat inside the blue bag. Everything seems to be in order and present. Boat looks very clean. Never left in the water.
The HUNTER 216 is the ultimate day sailer " with great overnight capability! The ACP-constructed 216 is the largest thermoformed boat in the world, and won the NMMA's highly coveted Innovation Award in 2004 for its pioneering design and construction methods. The large cockpit accommodates six in comfort, while the extra large cuddy is fun for overnighting.

The design target for the 216 is an easy-to-sail, trailerable sloop, usable for day sailing. Aspired to endow the boat with "performance enough to intrigue a serious sailor or club racer, but easily controllable for the rank amateur.
Advanced Composite Process is the most modern production boat building method being used today. It starts on the outside with a tough outer shell that is both weather and scratch resistant. The outer layer is then backed up with high-density urethane foam to add stiffness and impact resistance. A layer of knitted biaxial fiberglass bonded inside the foam strengthens the entire structure.
