Up for auction is a 2009 Mustang Drag Radial car. This car is the same car that was shown on Pinks All Out in Indianapolis. The car has been put back together and raced many times after the incident. The car drives straight and is a very easy car to drive. The car was built from the ground up to be a stock suspension drag radial or true ten five car. The car has a complete chrome moly 25.5/25.2 cage inside. The drivers compartment is equipped with all the best safety stuff and it has the full interior inside of it (what will fit and not make the car look like it is "stripped" out). The car has the factory dash shell, factory door panels, factory headliner, factory rear inner quarter panels, factory rear shelf and whats left of the factory carpet. The inside of the car also incorporates all the 4" aluminum tubing for the Procharger 2500hp intercooler mounted in the back of the passengers compartment. The front of the car consists of a custom chrome moly k-member with custom a-arms hooked to a set of factory spindles outfitted with wilwood brakes, strange struts, QA1 coil springs and QA1 caster/camber plates. The car rolls on Weld Magnum wheels, a 2 piece design all the way around. The rear suspension consists of factory control arm mounting points on the body, a custom Chris Alston Fab 9 rear end housing with the backbrace, custom upper and lower control arm mounts with multiple mounting positions for both. The rear end is supported by Strange shocks and a set of QA1 springs. The rear suspension also consists of a JBRC heavy duty anti roll bar. The inside of the rear end is setup with a Strange Ultra Case third member, Richmond 3.90 Pro Gears, Strange 35 spline lightweight spool and Strange 35 spline Pro Race axles. The rear also include Wilwood heavy duty brakes to take care of the stopping duties. The other stopping duties are controlled by a Simpson 12ft skyjacker parachute with a silver fireproof pack. Providing power for the car is a 358 cubic inch small block ford based on a Ford Racing 351 block stuffed with an Eagle crank, GRP aluminum rods, JE pistons with Clevite bearings and a Hellfire ring package. The top of the motor is a set of Trick Flow high port heads, Jesel shaft rockers, Comp solid roller cam, Isky Red Zone lifters, Danny Bee belt drive and an Edelbrock Super VIctor EFI intake. The fuel injection is controlled by a Big Stuff 3 injection system with an internal data logger, MSD 7531 digital ignition box and a MSD HVC coil. The extra power is made from a belt driven, foward facing Procharger F1R supercharger. The blower makes around 26#'s of boost at 8300 RPM. Transferring the power to the rearend is a JW case glide with a JW bellhousing attached to the front of it. The internals include a TCI full tree valve body, TCI straight cut 1.80 planetary, TCI billet servo and a cast aluminum deep trans pan. There is also a TCI blower spec convertor in there. The driveshaft is a 4" aluminum piece. This car has no junk in it, it is top dollar parts everywhere you look. This car has run down in the deep 8.20's at 171mph on a 325/50 BFGoodrich drag radial tire. The car has lots of potential left and will make the new owner very proud.
