This is not something that you buy and use in the garage this is something you put in the back of the car for emergencies in case you're on the side of the road and your tire is low and you need to Pump It Up enough to get somewhere safe. I think every man should buy one for their wife and show her how to use it along with jumper cables and put them in her trunk. I have since replaced this one with a much better brand but it did the job and gave me peace of mind. I mean it's worth the $10 I think that's how much I paid something like that.

I had previously purchased a slightly more expensive pump that worked quicker, but barely lasted a year, This pump has no "on/off" switch- it goes on as soon as its plug is put into the cigarette lighter. It is very slow and quite loud, but it seems to be holding up. I am still keeping my eye out for a quicker & more quiet model with an on/off switch.
