This kit is fly cut/clearanced to accept all inline heads (stock, GT-40, Edelbrock, AFR, Pro Comp, etc.) We have limited kits for Trick Flow Twisted Wedge call.

Small block stroker Fords  sometimes get a bad rap for oil consumption problems... this is due to the short compression distance from the piston pin to the top of the piston. This short distance causes the piston pin bore to intersect the bottom oil ring grove... potentially causing an oil usage problem. Hawks Racing has eliminated this by utilizing custom pistons with ring groves and ring package so that the piston pin bore does not intersect the bottom oil ring grove like the SRP 347 pistons (See below) and others.
