This is a 355 SBC motor that was built to be used in our IMCA Sport Mod, but we moved up to an "A" Mod and have never fired up this engine. It is a true 9-1 compression ratio for pump gas. It will handle 7500 RPM, and depending on your carb setup, HP rating will vary. Would be a great engine for a Sport Mod, Stock Car, or an awesome street car engine.

  • 350 2-bolt main block, boiled, bored .030" over, Decked to "0" deck height for true 9-1 compression ratio, line honed, new frost plugs and cam bearings installed
  • Keith Black KB260 flat top pistons
  • Total Seal Rings
  • Eagle 6" I-beam Floating Rods
  • Eagle Cast Steel Crankshaft
  • Complete rotating assembly balanced, balance sheet will be included
  • Speedway 915-1502 Tight Lash Camshaft, 248-256 Duration @ 50 with 531-535 Lift
  • Clevite rod and main bearings
  • Double roller timing chain
  • 882 Heads, stainless 2.02" valves, screw in studs, guide plates, hardened push rods, roller tip rocker arms
  • Edelbrock intake manifold
  • Melling High volume oil pump, with hardened oil pump shaft
  • All machine work and rotating assembly are NEW

The only things that are not brand new inside this are the cam and heads, they both have 6 nights in an IMCA Sport Mod.
