Pirelli Winter Carving Edge and Winter Carving radials are Studdable Winter tires that were developed for the drivers of sport cars, coupes, sedans and minivans, as well as CUVs and SUVs. While designed to accept tire studs to enhance traction on packed snow and ice, they can also be used without studs if desired. Winter Carving radials are designed to perform in wet and dry conditions, as well as enhance overall traction in snow and on ice.

Winter Carving radials use Pirelli's Adaptive Compound Technology (ACT) to blend winter performance with wear resistance. They feature a directional tread design with rounded shoulders to increase hydroplaning resistance on wet and slush-covered roads while enhancing dry road handling. High density lateral sipes across the face of the tire enhance packed snow starting and stopping traction while optional alternating rows of metal studs in the shoulder tread blocks and center zone increase traction on icy roads.

Pirelli Winter Carving radials meet the industry’s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the snowflake-on-the-mountain symbol.

Install Pirelli Winter Carving tires in sets of four only.

Due to the traction capabilities of the Pirelli Winter Carving Edge and Winter Carving radials, Pirelli recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance
