Hello, What I have here is a VERY NICE, VINTAGE HULL, GOLD  AUTO / DASH COMPASS.

 

I'm still going thru boxes in the Garage, & around the house Reducing some of my Collectables. Time to clean out the accumulated items I saved for future use. Maybe someone can use these items now. Time to let this stuff  go.

 

This Hull Compass is in Very Good Condition for it's age. The body is a GOLD Color. There are NO marks on the Body or Lens that I can see.

 

The Dial is Clear & Easy to read. The Fluid Level is FULL, NO signs of any leakage. There is a small air bubble, about 5/8 of an inch across. ( See Picture #5 ) Compass seems to be very accurate. Dial Spins Freely when direction is changed.

On the back, there is a hole to add a light for those Night Time drives. Mounting bracket is attached. This Compass can be attached to dash with a Sticky pad or a single screw. Sticky Pad would need to be replaced. The Color is Very Nice & Unusual. Not your regular Black or White.

 

 These were  VERY POPULAR during the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, & Still to this day
