This is a Flathead Ford generator that I have rebuilt and converted to 12 Volt. I have over 30 years experience in high quality custom rebuilding starters, alternators and generators. This generator should fit any Ford Flathead V8 car engine from 49' to 53'. It has the narrow 3/8 " pulley. It has New 12 Volt Field coils, new brushes, and bearings ($85.00 retail value for these parts). The pictures show a generator during a typical rebuilding process, the generator is completely disassembled, all parts tested and cleaned. The armature looks like a rewound unit, it has been turned, undercut and tested on a growler for shorts. It is stamped with 8BA-H on the fan and 8 BA-D or U on the field housing.

If you need the hard to get wide 5/8" pulley for the truck applications, I have them for an extra $10.00.

I have bench tested this generator and it puts out 35-40 amps.

This generator needs a 12 volt regulator and I have them tested and ready to go for $45.00.

I also have a mounting bracket for this generator for an additional $10.00.

Please be aware that UPS only covers $100.00 in value unless you pay for extra insurance, so insurance is required for items selling for over $100.00 to protect me and the buyer if an item is lost or damaged in shipment. Insurance is also required for US Post Office  international shipments for the same reason.

This generator can be polarized for either positive or negative ground. It has been bench tested and this generator puts out 35-40 amps at 14 Volts. 

I can also supply you with a 12 Volt or a 6 volt high torque starter if you need one.
