You are looking at a 61 Chevy Borg Warner T-10 case and parts. Correct for 61 Corvette or Impala. This tranny was blown up in a local 61 Corvette 40 years ago and recently surfaced while cleaning out an estate. The main case is cast # T10-1B and dated L30 (Nov. 3, 1960). The tail shaft cover is cast # T10-7B and dated 7-22-60. The side cover is T-10-148 B and is undated. The assembly date is stamped M2202 (Dec. 22, 1960 for the 61 model year). 61 trannys did not have a V.I.N stamp. One of the shifter mounting holes in the tail cover looks stripped (pictured). The main shaft with output and the input shaft & gear are OK. Many other parts are missing. You get everything you see in the pictures. If you need this match dated case to complete your restoration, don’t let it get away.
