MGB-GT runs and drives great. I purchased it in Florida and drove it home to Michigan. It has overdrive and makes a huge difference. I had the car checked out by Glenn's MG in St. Petersburg, FL before heading home. He suggested new main bearings to increase the oil pressure. I put over $1400 in parts and labor including various items like new water pump, timing chain, hoses, clamps, etc. The compression on the cylinders is between 130-140 on all cylinders. I had intended to completely strip it and restore, but ran out of interest, time, and space. Note that the sale includes 4 brand new service/tuning manuals worth over $200 retail. The cars paint is solid, but the surface preparation lacked professional quality. There are numerous very small imperfections in the paint. The car starts and runs very, very well. It will make a good daily driver or an absolute easy base for a full restoration. The frame, floors, sills, etc. are solid. It is a Southern car as evidenced by the car check that was done. I am so sure of the reliability of this vehicle I am willing to deliver anywhere in the U.S for $150 + costs + return airfare. Way less than shipping would cost.
