These bars are the strongest ETD makes and the best in the industry. We use only the best high-grade steel and chromoly in the construction and the strongest hardware money can buy. These bars are designed for high hp street and track dedicated cars.
Engineered from extensive track testing and racing, ETD Racing Traction bars are developed to improve traction and handling. ETD Racing Traction Bars bolts on to your factory tow hook mounting locations. We don't just sell these bars we use them on our race cars.
Components are CNC machined and laser cut from 1/4" steel and finished with a durable powder coating. The radius arms are thick walled polished aluminum to ensure a strong and solid arm to prevent from fatigue and breakage. With the versatility of the radius arms, fitment is perfect every time and adjustability is only a twist away. The Main bar is made from Chromoly and the end plates from the best high-grade steel available.

- NOTE ABOUT 99-00 DOHC CIVIC: Does not fit 99-00 DOHC Civic models (Si & SIR). To make them fit, you need to weld the plate on to the control arm that is normally bolted on all the other models. This does work and has been done, but because it's not "bolt on" we say it doesn't fit, though technically it will if you have access to a welder. |

Dual Point Mounting System
- ETD Makes two version of this bar. One with a simple single point mounting system for lower to mid Hp cars and this race version with a Dual point mounting system to the lower control arm. The single works good, but if you have a lot of HP or run at the track a lot, the extra strength afforded by having a dual mounting point will give you the added confidence that this system will hold up to all the abuse you can throw at it. This is perfect for high hp and or cars that are abused regularly on the street and track. If you run slicks at the track, you should be running a dual mounting setup.
New Aluminum Spacer System
The new aluminum spacers you see on either side of the rod end allow it to have the maximum amount of movement possible. Some other traction bar systems use small crappy rod ends sandwiched between the mounts. The cheaper rod ends have a thinner casing allowing the rod end to protrude so they don't need spacers. This is convienant when designing a kit but the rod ends are not strong enough for racing use. We use the large strong rod ends and designed these special aluminum spacers specifically to solve this problem. You get the strong thick rod ends and lots of movement. Many other traction bars simply don't do this because it's hard to manufacturer and adds more cost. We do it because this is the best and strongest way. |

Bar is no longer butt welded to the plate. The mounting plate is drilled and the bar goes through it and welded on the outside. This added a lot of extra strength and completely eliminated welds breaking. ETD Racing traction bars are the only bars built like this.
New Shinier and stronger Powder Coating
We no longer use the dull black powder coating we have switched to this deep shiny black powder coating which is thicker and more durable than any coating we have ever used before.

Aluminum Radius Arms & Stronger Rod Ends.
We searched the market for the best radius arms but couldn't find anything that is strong enough. We had these custom made to our specifications which are the strongest in the industry. These are now swaged polished 7071-T7 aluminum radius arms that are .150 thick with an 1.125" OD. 7071-T7 is one of the highest grades available and is generally used only in major arospace use.
We use chromoly & Teflon lined rod ends are 5/8ths thick and are heat treated black. The strongest available for this application based on our exhaustive testing.

Re-locating or running a custom rad?
Now you can mount your radiator onto the traction bar anywhere you want. Fully adjustable, you can flip it around to put the rad however you want. Allows you to mount any rad anywhere on the bar you want!
Works with EG and DC radiators plus every aftermarket radiator for Honda's.
