This auction is for a 1996 - 2000 JAGUAR XJ6 XJ8 XK8 R AUTO DIM REAR VIEW MIRROR

It will also work on 1996 and Up JAGUAR LISTED

It might fit other models as well but please check to make sure.  I pulled out of a 97 JAGUAR XJ6. The mirror glass looks clean but when I test the auto dim feature, it does not dim.  I use the previous auction picture but the one you are bidding has a short wire where it was cut close to the edge of the mount.  You will need to extend it from your existing mirror which I don't see the point of extending as the auto dim feature does not dim.  This is a 3 wires version.

The auto dimming will darken the mirror automatically when the cars behind you or on the side is too bright or with high bean as well as cars from opposite direction with to bright headlight or high bean.  It will then clears back to normal when the brightness reduce from cars  in front or behind automatically.
