    MIGHT BE GOOD FOR HARMONIC BALANCER, BUT SO GOOD FOR SOME STEERING WHEELS

    This is a nice kit if you had to pull a harmonic balancer, but it is not so good for steering wheels. Although it included several bolts of different sizes and lengths, non included fit my 1989 Buick. The sizes were wrong and the lengths were way to short to get it to work with the big clunky center piece. I had to go out and buy some bolts in order to get it to work as advertised.

    THIS IS A VERY NICE TOOL AND THE PRICE 10.95 WAS LOW COST. HARBOR FREIGHT WANTED 35.00 FOR THIERS AND IT WAS NOT ANY BETTER THAN THIS TOOL. IT ALSO HAS SIMPLICITY OF USAGE TOO. WANT A STEERING WHEEL PULLER? BUY IT HERE AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE PRICE ON IT EITHER!

    Steering wheel puller.

    Received it quickly and was ready to use it when I found out that the bolt selection supplied does not cover what I needed. Went to the store to get metric bolts and they didn't have long enough bolts. I need a M8 1.25 X 90 which seems to be hard to find in that length. I have not been able to use it yet. Not happy.

    Remove Harmonic Balancer

    I used this puller just once so far to remove the harmonic balancer from a Corvair engine that has been modified for aircraft use. This is a relatively tough job as the balancer is a tight press fit. I provided two fine thread bolts, as the kit comes with coarse thread bolts. The balancer pulled off without too much effort.
