Back injury forces this sale. I bought my dream car to restore, about 4 years ago, but my back had other ideas. The car is a 1968 AMC AMX Go Pac with a 390 CI and 4 speed with orginal paint and a clear Wa. state title.   It has disc brakes  with power steering, and posi. I am told that I am the fourth owner. A lady bought it off a lot in 1970, drove and stored it for many years, about 6 years ago a gentleman bought it, started working on it, divorce came calling, and sold it to me. He dismantaled the running gear and everything under the hood, he tagged most items.  (I have receipts for the work he farmed out,) crank maged, indexed and ground 010/010,  and new bearings. The heads were cleaned and maged, completely rebuilt, using chevy preformance 2.02 & 1.65 valves. Resurfaced hds. Used pref. springs and assembled $807.00 ( they have a light coat of rust, my garage leaked here they were stored) .  Rods were cleaned and maged, and rebuilt $$630.00  He said he rebuilt the 4 speed. I believe all the parts, he took off and tagged, I have. The block and heads are not in pictures.    NOW to the car, I have went over the car and the following is true to the best of my knowledge.(see pictures) the floor boards and trunk floor are solid except for a small rust hole under drivers seat.  The only other rust I could find (this is why I bought it), is the trunk lid, both quarter panels and surface rust on drivers door skin. All the glass is good. The interior is all there but is really showing its age and tears.. The stainless trim needs some dings worked out. bumpers are nice for a driver, could use rechrome for show, front bumper, is bent on drivers side butI believe  is a easy fix. It has the factory Magmun 500 chrome wheels, tires are no good. I could not find any evidence that it has every been in an accident. The door tag reads as follows: Body R027409;  Model 68397;  Trim 832A;  Paint 50A;  F119623.   She is a great starting point for a restore, but she is not perfect, but who or what is at 41 years old.
