1965 Rambler Marlin

This Marlin is all original and runs good. This Rambler Marlin has the rare Red 327  4 Barrel V8 Engine

*Original Marlin Hubcaps

*Chrome Rambler Gas Cap
*Marlin hood ornament front & back
 *Trunk electrical tow cable
*Original paint
*This car Runs good, Shifts good, Brakes good*

This car is all there. This car was a California car the majority of its life, but in the last 10 years has made its way south, and has been kept in a building. This car has very little surface rust in a few small spots and the paint is completley original and has flaked off in some spots, Check out the photos. The odometer works and reads 23,644 miles, good chance they are original but could be 123k but highly doubt it. Gas gauge has stoped working and temp gauge they are in the same dash cluster circle easy fix.The interior is really nice, there is a rip in the drivers seat (See Photo) the rest of the interior is really sharp. Windows roll down good, vent windows work good. Radio works good, dash lights work good. 3 Speed shift command on console. There was 10,000 of these cars made and only 10% of these are still around thats less than a thousand, the rarest motor of them all is the 327 4-bbl engine, your talking not very many left. They made a 232 I6, 287 V8 2-bbl, 327 2-bbl, and the rarest 327 4-bbl V8. There is not many of these rare cars left. This car needs a new home, wife wants me to get rid of it. Hopefully it will go to a AMC Rambler Enthusiast.

Q: Hi, I live in Cincinnati, do you think the Marlin would make the drive safely here (about 350 miles) or do you think it should be trailered? Thanks! Rick
A: I think it would make it , then again anything could happen with any car on a longer trip. This car is solid , runs good, either way driving or put on a trailer would be fine. The car is sold with no warranty though,... Continue reading
