This Aquapel is legit. Watch out for fakes. The instruction are a little confusing on their website. I found two different instructions. The right way is, apply to window, wipe with paper towel until the droplets are gone. Do NOT buff out the streaks. Let dry until clear. I waited a few hours. It does dry clear. Then buff out any small streaks left. (Which were just a few). My wiper chattered in the first storm, then smoothed out after a while, works great.

    A must for added safety in rain,sleet, snow

    Was skeptical several years ago when I bought this for the 1st time due to not being impressed by Rain-X products. This does work very well and lasts almost a year. Improves visibility significantly in rain and mist and some improvement in sleet and snow. Makes use of wipers at road speeds on interstate with light rain not necessary.

    Only 2 out of 4 Worked

    I used this on my windshield. The first packet worked great. The next 2 I tried were dry; nothing came out of them (maybe the little vial inside was already broken?). It took 4 of them to cover one windshield. They seem to work decently, but not really any better than rain x or something of lesser value.

    Great product

    I used one applicator to do the windshield and left side windows. I used a second applicator to do the rear window and right side windows. In the rain, the water just slides off the glass. Great product and it does a much better job than the famous one available in stores.

    Works great but....

    Really works well. Once solvent is on windshield let it dry for about a day then use wipers to get off extra film and repels rain like a champ. Only thing is that there is a glass vial inside the plastic outer that has the liquid, when you break it to apply liquid glass shards come through the application pad on to your windshield so be careful.

    Like a Pilot through the cockpit.

    When I received it I noticed there weren't any instructions on how to apply. But with a little 'common sense' you CAN figure it out. After I applied it (it was on a clear and sunny day) I noticed a little haze on my windshield and rearward window. It wasn't distracting though. But it wasn't until I experienced the first rainfall after applying it is when it shined. First of course you notice how the rain beads on the windshield like it says but it really performed when I noticed that I could see out my rearward window with all the rainwater beading on the surface. Great product so far. Let's see how long it will last on the glass. Three weeks and counting... until the next rainfall.
