As an upgrade to the S4 and A6 2.7TT engine, these turbos flow much more than K03 units, and are far less prone to being overboosted and wearing out prematurely.  These turbos are well known for their low spool up like the smaller K03 units but with much more mid-range punch and ability to hold over 20psi to redline easily.  A must upgrade for any 2.7TT owner looking to either replace or upgrade their old K03's.

To maximize full potential, a "Stage 3" tune is recommended; however for those on a tight budget, these will run perfectly on original K03 programming at low to medium boost levels.

Please note that these are not genuine BorgWarner turbos; and beware of any ebay sellers claiming to sell genuine turbos for less than USD$2200.

However, these turbos are manufactured to match or exceed OEM specifications of performance and reliability. There is simply no compromise on quality; they are VSR-machine balanced and contain zero shaft play.

Be wary of similar-looking KKK imitations that are not manufactured to the same precision; some do not even use the original KKK CAD models; thus varying slightly in internal dimensions resulting in slight differences in turbo spool up and boost characteristics.

Furthermore, other imitations are also shipped with 7psi wastegates, and the quality of the housings and CHRA's vary from one to another; not to mention some imitations have incorrectly clocked housings.  I have these installed on my S4 and they are excellent turbos; the 12psi wastegate builds linearly and holds perfectly at 12psi the way it should; the bearings are silent and boost is smooth and progressive.

A 12 month warranty is provided on these turbos; 6 months longer than the other competing KKK turbo "replicas".  Please have full confidence in purchasing these turbos.
