Aircraft Airframe Fabrication - 23 Titles Metal Forming
The information in this title goes well beyond aircraft fabrication, in fact all of the techniques described here can be adapted to any project you have in mind from auto repair or restoration through to homebuilt airplanes.

The technologies that were used 60 years ago are well within the scope of anyone with a technical mind and a garage today. Yesterday's high tech is today's garage tech. One of the most prevalent methods of shaping or forming in aviation is to stretch a firmly fixed sheet of metal over a form or buck using a car jack, for example. This method of forming, as well as many others are described and illustrated in this collection of museum documents.

These particular documents were first published for the US Navy in 1942 when America's declaration of war meant the need for the large scale reassignment of industry and massive training programmes – the main beneficiary being "Rosie the Riveter".

These 23 titles are supplied on 3 CDs and are for use on PC and Mac computers. All pages are print enabled so that you can print pages on your home printer or alternatively, print at a bureau near you.

Shipping and packaging is all included in the price and it is via air mail. Delivery takes from between 4 and 9 days. If anything gets lost or stolen in transit we replace at no extra charge to the customer.
