1981 Alfa Romeo Spider veloce

1981 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Convertible. It is a very fun, great driving Alfa! This Alfa has a clean and clear Iowa title. It comes with( as pics will show) a ton of records and receipts for restoration work (over $9000) done on the car by the previous owner. The Alfa also comes with some extra parts we got with the car. It is an older restoration as most of the receipts are from 2002 and earlier. I personally drove this car on a 8 hour road trip and it rode and drove great! I had the car up to 70 mph and it rode very nice. On a cold start, I noticed a slight miss but nothing that didn't smooth out or worry me. The car doesn't smoke as far as I can see and the car shifts smoothly to all of the gears. the wipers and horn are working.  All of the gauges work except for the oil pressure gauge which comes and goes intermittently. The tires on the alfa are very good with lots of tred. The top on the car is in good shape with no rips or major wear marks I can see. I ran into a pretty heavy rain storm driving the car on that 8 hour trip and it did not leak on me.  Both windows go up and down but the passenger side goes slower. The windshield has a small 1/2 inch crack on the top of the windshield.  All of the lights are working. I noticed a dime size oil spot under the car after letting it sit for a few days. The radio is an aftermarket c/d player and is working. the seats of the car look good with no rips. The body on the Alfa looks good (as pics will show) with only minor blemishes here and there. Nothing out of the ordinary or overly noticeable. It has a leather boot for the top also. Based on  all of the receipts, overall condition, and records, this was someone's baby! It will make some one a very fun car! Deposit: a 500 dollar deposit must be paid by paypal or wire transfer within 24 hours of auction end. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by wire transfer or cash in person. If customer can not make it in 7 days to pick up, please call and we can make arrangments. All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it.
